Swimming

Children in 1st, 2nd and 3rd class will be given the opportunity to avail of a block of six-week swimming lessons every year.

Swimming is one of the 6 strands on the PE curriculum therefore all children are expected to participate in lessons. We attend the local Go Plus Fitness Club for these lessons. It was decided to use the local club to save parents money as the price of using buses to transport children to pools further away increases the cost of swimming lesson significantly.

The cost of the lesson per child is 45 euros for six weeks. All payments are made online through Aladdin.

Children in 3rd class will be going swimming in September/October 2025

Children in 2nd class will be going swimming in January/February 2026

Children in 1st class will be going swimming in March/April 2026
