Swimming

First and Second Class Assembly

The little things are most worthwhile
A quiet word, a look, a smile,
A listening ear that’s quick to share
Another’s thoughts, another’s care…
Though sometimes they may seem quite small,
These little things mean most of all.

Kindness starts by being kind to yourself. Do you treat yourself kindly? Do you speak gently and kindly to yourself and take good care of yourself? Being friendly, generous, considerate and caring are words that are associated with kindness. We are going to look at a powerpoint all about kindness

Stranger Danger

We had Garda Barbara and Garda Padraig in to visit us today at assembly to speak to us about Stranger Dander. It is important not to speak to strangers and to always be aware of what a stranger may look like.

Mr Reidy                                                                                                  Remember the ways we spoke about being kind to ourselves and to other people. Let’s all try hard today to do one kind thing for someone in our lives. Let’s spread some kindness in St. Declan’s.
