Wooly Wards Farm
The three Senior Infant classes went on their school tour on the 11th of June. On Wooly Ward’s Farm the children were exposed to a variety of adorable animals ranging from rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, hens, ducks, pigs, lambs, and goats.
Each child got the opportunity to pet, groom, and hold the animals in a safe environment. The Wooly Ward’s team are dedicated to teaching children the value of our relationship with the animal world. They focus on bringing children and animals together using a hands-on interactive approach that’s fun and engaging.
The staff will taught the children how to handle the animals correctly and encouraged them to share, be gentle, and thoughtful. The children will learn interesting facts about each variety of animal.
They got to go on bouncing castles and pony rides. The children were treated to an animal panto at the end of the day.
