Science Week 2020
Science Week 2020 takes place nationally from November 8th to 15th. Now, more than ever, we have turned to the information science provides to guide our decisions. The core theme for Science Week 2020 is ‘Science Week – Choosing our Future’ focusing on how science can improve our lives in the future, and in the present. This will explore how science can help us to make positive choices that will impact the environment, our health, and our quality of life. Changes based in scientific evidence that we make today can hugely improve our future life, but also right now. Science, technology, engineering and maths all play a huge role in our everyday lives and in our economy, that has never been clearer than during the past few months as we respond to Covid-19. Science Week is an opportunity for us all to engage with the science all around us and have informed conversations about our shared ambitions for our future.” Minister Harris is encouraging people across the country to get involved in a virtual Science Week.
All our classes will be participating in lots of different Science activities throughout the week. We are unable to have our annual Science Fare as we cannot mix pods but all classes will be taking part in a number of experiments. Keep an eye on our school website for daily posts.
