Ms Curran’s fourth class have started learning the ukulele. We have a qualified music teacher coming in every Monday and Thursday for the next four weeks to teach the ukulele.
The ukulele is part of the lute family and is a small guitar –like instrument with four strings. The fun nature of this instrument keeps kids interested and engaged in lessons in learning more about music. As part of the lessons the children will learn about beat, harmony, melody, rhythm and tempo. The ukulele helps develop eye-hand co-ordination as well as independent movement of fingers.

Mr Ryan’s class will go next followed by Ms King’s class. Thhank you to the BOM and the PA who have contributed towards the cost of the lessons.
