Ms. Curran’s 4th class
We’ve had a busy start to the New Year here in Room 25! We really enjoyed our Christmas break and came back to school refreshed and excited to see what 2018 has in store for us! Here are some of the things we have been getting up to…
Last week, we made pinch pot Clay Monsters in art. We had great fun and are looking forward to painting them once they are dry. Take a look at some of our masterpieces! 😉
Visit to Ashbourne Church
Last Friday, we were delighted to visit Ashbourne church. Fr. Ciarán showed us around the oratory and answered any questions we had. Fr. Ciarán then performed a short meditation service with us and we really enjoyed it!
Today was a very exciting day as it was our first day learning the Ukulele! Our teacher Gillian was brilliant and we all love our new instrument! We are going to be doing lessons twice a week for the next six weeks. After today’s lesson, we now know how to play the C, A minor and G chords! We can’t wait for our next lesson this Thursday as we are going to learn our very first song!
