Happy New Year from all of us in room 4. We had a visitor in today to speak to us about online safety. We learnt all about keeping our personal information private and to only interact with actual friends that we know in real life.
We’re learning about decimals and fractions in maths. Ms. Quinlan comes in for station teaching three mornings a week for maths. We’re learning about life in 18th century Ireland, reading about the 10 Commandments, practising a song called Ag Críost An Síol, learning how to play G on the ukulele and making monsters out of clay. We’ve also got FAI soccer training each Wednesday for 6 weeks. Some of the coaches are TY students from ACS and we think they’re great at coaching. We are doing ‘forces’ science experiments in class and we’ll display one of them at the Science Week Fair.
Lots going on!
