This term, second class in Room 18 have been developing their hurling skills with the help of local coaches Martin and Maire. Firstly, the children started off by becoming familiar with the different parts of the hurley. From there on they started to work on how to hold the hurley. The children are really enjoying the classes and have mastered the skill of controlling the sliotar with the hurl while on the ground. There are still some sessions to go so watch out for our up and coming stars!!
