Congratulations to the Boys Football Team who have reached the final of the Fingal League . The game was set to take place in Parnell Pk, but construction work has resulted in a temporary closure of the Donnacarney venue. The game will now go ahead in Abbotstown GAA Centre. close to the Aquatic Centre on Tuesday, May 15th at 1.30pm. Opposition on the day will be provided by Donabate ETNS. Both teams have played each other twice in the earlier rounds of the competition with honours even at this stage. The boys have been training diligently over the past few months and we wish them every success on the day. Special thanks to Mr Farrell and his coaching team who have worked tirelessly with the boys.
Transport to the game will be provided for children from 4th, 5th and 6th classes at a cost of 8 euro which will include admission.
The buses carrying supporters will leave the school at 12.40 and we expect to be back at 3.10. Teachers will accompany their classes to the game.
Children from classes 4th – 6thwho wish to travel to the game are asked to complete the accompanying form and return with money to the school on Monday the 14th of MAY. We cannot guarantee a place on the trip for children who do not confirm attendance on Monday.
Children will watch the game from the side of the pitch and will not be able to use the stand. They should dress appropriately for cold/wet conditions. Parents and other supporters are welcome to travel independently to the game. Good Luck !!!
