A busy second term – Room 18 Mrs Walker

DSCF1839What a busy term this has been so far for the children. Apart from their usual academics there has been our annual performance of a pantomime by M and M productions. As usual they put on a wonderful show with lots of interaction with the children. We also had a talk from the RSA with regard to safety on the roads . This was very well received by the children and full of very useful information for them. The class has been getting coaching from the GAA for a number of weeks now. This has been a great opportunity for the children as it is carried out by well trained coaches. At present they are receiving coaching in the art of hurling. Great fun for all!! Last week we were treated to some tips on skipping from Skipnrope . This was a super session and we were then treated to a demonstration of skipping moves from a cross section of classes. Friday last saw great excitement in the class as they all got ready for the disco!!
