5th and 6th Class Assembly
We had our very first assembly for 5th and 6th classes. We all gathered in the hall after little break and Mr. Reidy welcomed us . We said prayers and Mr. Reidy spoke to us about the importance of assemblies. He congratulated the children who had perfect attendance to date. Ms Quinlan’s and Mr Lydon’s class won the homework pass for the best turned out in uniform. We are working hard at improving our lines on the yard and next month the class who has the best line every week will get to spend an extra ten minutes out on yard after the bell rings and get a certificate for the class. These classes will be announced at the next assembly. Mr Reidy congratulated Mozeedat Badru from Ms Quinlan’s class who is going to be playing in Pairc Tailteann at half time on Saturday the 7th of March.
The quiz team where presented with a certificate from Mr Reidy.
The draughts winners from 5th and 6th class were presented with a voucher from Easons. Well done!!!
We have a pupil of the month award. Four children from each class are nominated and then there is one overall winner.
We were treated to a class performance from Mr. Farrell’s 6th class. They sang the song Rude by Magic.
The assembly was a great success . Well done to all the boys and girls involved and their teachers.
