Walk on Wednesdays (WOW) will be kicking off on Wednesday, February 1st, 2012.
6th class will launch the campaign to make a special effort to walk every Wednesday in conjunction with the green flag theme of travel. To earn this flag Children are encouraged to use environmentally sustainable methods of travelling.
On the 8th of February 5th class will be encouraged to join in with WOW.
4th class will join WOW on February 15th. Each week another class will join. If children live a distance from the school they may like to consider park and stride as an alternative.
Remember- there’s no such thing as bad weather- only bad clothing choice! Wrap up well!
