In Room 17 we read about the Very Hungry Caterpillar. One Sunday mornin a little caterpillar popped out of an egg. For 7 whole days the caterpillar ate and ate and ate until the next Sunday when he could not eat any more and wasn’t a little cater pillar anymore. He built a house for him self called a cocoon. After two weeks he nibbled a whole pushed his way out and He was a beautiful butterfly.

We made butterflies from toilet paper rolls, paper plates and paint. We also made one big caterpillar for our notice board and drew a picture of the story. It was lots of fun and they look really good!
