We had a super day in St. Declan’s for World Book Day. The children and some of the teachers dressed up as their favourite character from a book. We had visitors in to read to the different classes. The children got book vouchers to spend in certain book shops. The older classes went to some of the younger classes to read a story. Some classes created stories using the chrome books and lots of classes decorated their notice boards with book themed artwork. Thank you to Ms Lydon for organising the day for us. We really enjoyed it.  In the afternoon all classes took part in DEAR- Drop Everything And Read.
