Well Being – Friendship
Today as part of Well Being Week we spoke about the importance of friendship and how friends play a big part of our well being.
Wiktoria from Room 2 read out the following message on the intercom…………………………
Everybody needs friends. A friend is someone who is willing to accept you for who you are. You would feel very sad and lonely if you didn’t have someone to play with. To have good friends you have to be a good friend.
Tips for keeping old friends and making new friends
Take turns at being the leader in the game or picking the game. Friendship can’t be one-sided.
Have lots of fun together – spend quality time together
Even best friends need some time to be alone or to be with other friends, so don’t try to ‘own’ each other. Give your friends space when they need it. Respect each other’s differences.
Good friends should feel safe talking to each other about their feelings/problems.
Trust each other and look out for each other. A good friend is always loyal.
Bartosz read this poem about friendship.
