Visit from Richard Bruton and Regina Doherty
The Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance (BSCFA) helps you meet the cost of uniforms and footwear for children going to school. The parent/guardian must be getting certain social welfare payments or taking part in training, employment or adult education schemes and your child/ren must be aged between 4 and 17 on or before 30 September of the year you apply or aged between 18 and 22 on or before 30 September if still in second-level education. The scheme is currently open for families to apply for 2018.
Yesterday the 7th of June Richard Bruton and Regina Doherty Fine Gael visited our school to launch the opening of the Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance 2018. The children from Ms Doran’s 3rd class were picked to get pictures take with Minister Bruton and Minister Doherty. They also visited Mr Farrell’s 5th class and Ms Mc Hugh’s 5th class. It was a lovely visit and we thank them for coming.
