Mr. Mulroe’s 4th class have been working very hard on researching the life cycle of a chicken and how to take care of them. They started the process of incubating hen eggs which took about 21 days once incubation began.. Everyone took great care of the eggs taking turns in checking the temperature of the incubator using a thermometer. Mr Mulroe was very busy Saturday evening as three eggs hatched. The chidren in Room 5 were so excited today to see the new chickens. The chicks seemed very happy tweeting away. They had lots of visitors from all the other classes in the school. We are going to have a suggestion box to help name the chickens. There are 3 more chickens due to hatch on Wednesday this week.
