Congratulations to our 83 boys and girls from St. Declan’s who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday the 25th of May. They prepared some lovely artwork for the day for our school hall and the church.

The ceremony went very well and all the children enjoyed a very special day. Thank you to the class teachers Ms O’Halloran, Ms Curran and Mr Mc Loughlin and our SNA Patricia for their time and commitment throughout the year preparing the children. Also thanks to the choir under the direction and accompained by Mrs O’Rourke, Ms King and Mr Mc Keown. They gave a fantastic performance. Well done to our altar servers Eleanor Whelan, Keeva Thomas, Philip Carragher and Eimear O’Connell for helping Father Ciaran with the ceremony. A final thanks goes to the Parents Association for providing refreshments for all families after mass up at the school. We hope all the children enjoyed their special day.
