We have settled into our new room this year and hit the ground running! We have really enjoyed being part of the ‘senior side’ so far. Teacher has given us extra responsibility and the work has gotten harder too! (but… we are well able!) Some of us have worked extra hard and teacher has noticed so thumbs up! Our superstars so far this year are:
Fayomade: who won because she was trying her best constantly. She worked really hard and kept putting her hand up and participating in all the lesson. She really impressed teacher the first week back.
Kian: Kian won for a big improvement in behaviour. He was listening to teachers instructions and doing as he was supposed to, when he was supposed to do it! It really put a smile on teachers face.
Leon: Really works hard all the time, but teacher particularly noticed a special effort this week. His handwriting and presentation was lovely as well as his classroom behaviour and manners. Well done Leon!
Grace: Maith an cailín a Ghrace. Grace won star of the week for her hard work in Irish this week. She put her hand up and tried her best, that’s what teacher is looking for! None of us know the answer all the time but we can all try our best all the time and that’s why Grace won! Maith thú 
Teacher is looking forward to giving the award to lots more hard workers over the coming year, keep up the good work!
