rolled up their sleeves and got baking last week. On the menu was wholemeal brown bread and fresh blackberry jam! Their enthusiasm was great and they were all keen to become star bakers! They were all winners as they did such a wonderful job. Many children in the classroom went blackberry picking and brought in fresh berries for the jam. It was delicious and I’m sure the amount of sugar that was put in had something to do with it! The brown bread went down a treat and the children had some with the jam for their lunch in school.
