Senior Infant School Tour
Our three Senior Infants went on their school tour today to Causey Farm. The day started with a visit to the restored Martry Mill where the children saw wheat being milled. They then used the freshly milled flour to make brown bread. They saw a sheepdog demonstration , had a bodhran workshop, did giant bubble blowing, mural painting, milked a cow and met all the farm animals. They went on a tractor and trailer ride down to the bog to see the turf. They had a super day and arrived back to St. Declan’s exhausted. Thank you to Mrs O’Rourke, Ms Brogan and Ms Molloy for organising the trip and thank you to Ms Coote, Ms Quinlan and our SNA Lila for accompanying the children.
