Ms Leggett’s 4th class Room 9 were very lucky today to visit Ashbourne Library as part of Engineering Week. They got to make their own mechanical hand models and what an engineer does. They learnt how tendons and muscles in the hand works and how bio-engineers combine this knowledge to make mechanical hands with increased movement and function. They really enjoyed the workshop.
