Welcome to room 18. What a busy time we have had since our return to school. The biggest challenge for us was staying in school until 3 o’clock. We are happy to announce that we are well used to it now. It has been very exciting getting into our new books which are challenging but fun. We have become very efficient taking homework down into our journals – journals are new to first class. We get the job done first thing in the morning and then get on with our work for the day.
We were so lucky to have ‘Sam Maguire’ to visit us. We all had the opportunity to have our photographs taken with the cup – the Dubs are used to it!!!
This class is wonderful at singing and really enjoys it. Look out for video coming soon. We have aalso been doing some exciting art work – printing, drawing monster faces and creating beautiful aautumn trees. At the moment we are emersed in Hallowe’en art – so much fun!! Maths week has just been and we had a packed week of activities all very exciting.
