Quentin the Therapy Dog
Ms Collins’ 2nd class got a lovely surprise on Friday when Clare and Quentin visited their classroom. They had written some lovely persuasive writing to Mr Kearins and Mrs Collier looking for a dog for their class for a pet. Instead they got a visit from Quentin the therapy dog. Quentin lives with Clare who teaches in a secondary school in Bettystown. He goes to school with Clare every day and visits some of the ASD classes. It cost 64,000 to get Quentin trained with Guide Dogs Ireland. He was so gentle and kind and loved all the attention from the boys and girls in Room 19. Hopefully he come come for a visit another day soon.
