In January we celebrated the gift of Catholic Schools and of Catholic Education. During that week our entire school community showed in lots of different ways that we are proud of our Catholic school. The theme for Catholic Schools Week 2024 was Service in our Community. As part of Catholic schools Week we were due to go on a pilgrim walk with our 5th classes. This never happened due to bad weather. We had our Pilgrim Walk yesterday instead. Our three 5th classes joined with the other two Catholic schools in the village Gaelscoil Na Cille NS and St. Mary’s NS for a
pilgrim walk. Father Stephan and Father Brendan led the walk. Father Michael was unable to attend due to other commitments. It was a very enjoyable day out and all the children enjoyed visiting the other Catholic schools in the parish.
