Maths Eye: We went investigating around the school and the locality. We found so much maths in the environment.

Test yourself! What shape is the green post box? How many years ago was a ’04’ car made? If a car reg says 04-D-3765, what is the sum of all the numbers? How many kilograms are in 2000 grams? How long is the new extenstion?

We also went on a maths trail around the school. We estimated, counted, drew graphs, added, and subtracted (to name but a few). It was great to see how we can use maths to solve real life problems.
