We have finished our first English reader in Room 16. It was about a girl called Kitty who has a dog called Finn. Kitty is telling Finn the story of the Gingerbread man but Finn is dreaming and thinks he is in the story. We are very good at our reading as we practise lots at home and at school. We coloured in a picture of a gingerbread man and then cut them out. Have a look at them.

We have been learning some Halloween poems and songs. We learnt one about five little pumpkins.

 

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate.

The first one said “Oh my it’s getting late”.

The second one said “Let’s run Let’s run”.

The third one said “Isn’t  Halloween fun”.

The fourth one said “There are witches in the air”

The fifth one said “But we don’t care”

Then WOOOO went the wind

And out went the lights.

And five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.
