First Classes Visit Imaginosity

On Wednesday the 16th of October our three first classes, Rooms 14,15 and 16 got to visit Imaginosity as par of Maths Week. As children play, they learn. A child fully engaged in play is absorbed in a joyful engagement and experimentation with the world. Play helps children learn about the world in which they live. They investigate and discover, test their theories, spatial relationships, explore cause and effect, societal roles and family values. Imaginosity has carefully designed environments that inspire children’s learning. The three principles governing our education and design philosophy are; an appreciation of children’s play behaviour, a knowledge of how an environment can influence play and learning, and an understanding of children’s developmental milestones. Imaginosity has been designed to engage the mind on a multi-sensory level with careful consideration of colours and textures.
