Farmer Ann from Heritage Ireland visited us today and she brought some of the animals form her farm too. We have been playing ‘pet shop’ in Aistear this month, so this made the visit extra fun! We were super excited here in room 12 when Ann arrived with the hen Breege and the rooster Alfonso. Ann told us all about the birds and what they like to eat. Ann told us that Breege laid the eggs that Ann used to make her pancakes on Pancake Tuesday! Ann also brought frog spawn, but our favourite was Lucy the lamb! We were so excited to see a lamb at school. Some of us even got to hold Lucy’s lead and feed her a bottle of milk!
