On Saturday 19th of May 81 children from our three 2nd classes made their Communion in the church in Ashbourne. Father Ciaran and Father Derek said the ceremony. They were helped by Jamie Fennelly, Rachel Richardson, Amy Richardson, Kate Moss, Eleanor Whelan and Katie O’Connell. The communion children were a credit to their parents and their teachers. Thank you to Ms Mc Enroy, Ms Downes and Ms Crowley for their time and dedication throughout the year in preparing the children for the occasion. Thank you to the choir for the fabulous singing on the day and to Ms Lydon, Mrs O’Rourke, Ms Kelly and Mr Mc Keown for accompanying them. Thank you to the PA for providing refreshments in the school for the families after the ceremony.
