This week celebrates the gift of Catholic Schools and of Catholic Education. During this week, our pupils, staff, parents, grandparents and our entire school community  will show, in lots of different ways, that we are proud of our Catholic school. The theme for Catholic Schools Week 2023 is Walking Together in Faith and Love.  On Tuesday our four 5th classes will join the other two Catholic schools in the village Gaelscoil Na Cille NS and St. Mary’s NS for a pilgrim walk. Father Michael and Father Ciarán will lead the walk. Our 5th class pupils will also be invited to 11am mass on Sunday the 29th of January for a blessing.  On Wednesday our three 1st classes will be going to the church to celebrate mass with Father Ciarán and Father Michael.  Wednesday the 26th of January also celebrates Grandparents Day. Parents and grandparents of children can join us in the church or via the church webcam @ 10am https://www.ashbourneparish.ie/news/contact/. We will have our monthly assemblies this week with the focus on Catholic Schools Week.  All classes will be doing different activities with their teachers daily during the week. We look forward to celebrating Catholic Schools Week together in our school community.
