We are having so much fun this year in room 26. Every afternoon after yard we have Aistear. We have been doing art, playdough, role play, construction, leaf hunts, matching games…so many things!! We love Aistear and get so excited to hear about our new activities each week.

In September our theme was “Myself and my Home”. We built houses, we talked about and drew our own homes, we played in the home corner and we even made silly faces from playdough. It was great fun.

This month we have moved on to the theme of Autumn and Halloween. We’ve been learning lots about different leaves and trees and we even made little clay hedgehogs. Next week we’re going to learn more about hibernation and tuck the little guys in for the winter months. We don’t want them getting cold!!
