Well done to all the children in our three 6th classes who baked and bought cakes for the cake sale in aid of St. Vincent de Paul. Thank you to Ms Carey, Mrs Brick and Mr McKeown for organising the event. The children worked together in teams to organise what they were going to bake, set up the classroom, priced the items and looked after the sales and the clean up afterwards.

Children from 1st, 2nd and 3rd class got to go to the cake sale and buy items. Thank you to all the families who supported the cake sale. They raised 400 euros. Gay Riordan from St. Vincent de Paul came to our school this morning to collect the donation. She was very impressed with the amount of work that went into it, considering the busy time of year for 6th class. She thanked the children on behalf of everyone involved with St. Vincent de Paul.
