Welcome Back
We were delighted to welcome back our caretaker, Tommy, and secretaries, Karen and Joanne, today. We had a welcome back parade around the school and all the children and teachers were so excited to see them back. Lots of the children made welcome cards and banners as a token of their appreciation.
Thank you to everyone who showed support over the past two weeks—whether by contacting politicians, joining them on the picket line, offering words of encouragement, or providing refreshments. Your kindness and solidarity meant a great deal to them.
We deeply value their role in our school community, and it is encouraging to see that their contribution is being recognised at a national level as discussions at the WRC continue. We will keep you updated as necessary on any further developments and hope for a positive outcome.
We would also like to thank all parents and staff for your patience and understanding during this period. We look forward to resuming normal routines in the coming days, though we ask for your continued cooperation as we catch up on work that was inevitably delayed.
