There was great excitement in St. Declan’s on Thursday and Friday as we hosted our annual Sports Day. This was the first day since Covid that we welcomed back our parents to cheer our children on. The children took part in dodgeball, benchball, basketball, egg and spoon race, X and O, train tracks, penalty shoot out, relay races, tug of war, musical statues, water games, cone game, obstacle race and peg man. It was a huge success. Thank you Mr Farrell and the active schools committee for organising two great days for the children. It was a great day for all involved. 

Thank you to all families who sent in items and supported our cake sale. The children enjoyed picking and eating all their goodies. A massive thank you to our PA who organised and provided cover to run the day. We will have an update on the money raised in due course.
