Sports Day was a great success in St. Declan’s. The sun was beaming down as all children from Junior Infants to 6th class took part in events over Tuesday the 13th and Wednesday the 14th of June. The children enjoyed relay races, egg and spoon races, peg man game, penalty shoot outs, bench ball, water activities. obstacle courses, tug of war and musical statutes. We had a great turn out from parents and the children really enjoyed the day. Thank you to Mr Lydon for coordinating the event and to all our special education teachers for helping out at the various stations.
