Sport Against Racism Ireland
Sport against racism Ireland is a volunteer driven social enterprise with charitable status dedicated to using sport as a medium to promote social inclusion, cultural integration, global development, peacebuilding at home and abroad while addressing the issues that violate human rights such as racism, sectarianism, conflict and all forms of discrimination. SARI visited our school last week to work with two of our fifth classes. The children from Room 2 and Room 3 were involved in a workshop to teach the children through games how it feels to be excluded, how to deal with conflict and how to promote positive social inclusion. The children really benefited from the exercises.
