On Monday the 25th of June our three 6th classes went on their school tour to Tanagh Outdoor Adventure Centre.
Tanagh OETC aims to help teachers implement the Outdoor and Adventure Activities Strand of the Physical Education curriculum to include induction to water based activities, orienteering or adventure activities

• Canoeing
• Orienteering onsite
• Mud Slide
• Group solving problem exercises in Dartrey Forest
• Indoor Climbing
• Archery (Residential Bookings only)
• Low Ropes Course

The programme is delivered to the children in such a manner that everyone can participate and feel successful at the end of the session. They are non-competitive and good fun.
The principle aim of this programme is to encourage children to adopt a healthier lifestyle based on an enjoyment & appreciation of the outdoors. The children had an excellent day.
