National Scoot to School Week was held last week from the 7th to the 11th of March 2022. This initiative is ran by Green Schools. Scoot to School Week is a way of showing support for a greener, healthier environment by simply encouraging students to scoot to school. Lots of children in St. Declan’s scoot, cycle and walk to school. Hopefully as the weather starts to improve more children will be encouraged to come to school actively.  Thanks to Ms Coote our Green Schools coordinator and the children on the Green School’s Committee for promoting and organising the event. Well done to everyone who made the effort to scoot to school.
