Yesterday Santa Claus arrived to St Declan’s N.S in an Electric Ireland car. He was greeted by all the children in the school from junior infants to first  class. Santa Claus was promoting energy efficent modes of transport. Also two of his elves arrive by bicycle. Similarly yesterday was COW (cycle on Wednesday) and WOW ( Walk on Wednesday) days as we are striving towards our fourth Green Schools Flag with the theme of transport. As well as meeting Santa Claus the children from Miss Coote’s Class got to “Pimp their Rides” by designing and creating festive decorations for their bikes and scooters. The children from 2nd to 6th bid Santa Claus Adieu as he left again in his electric car.We had a fantastic day yesterday and all the good girls and boys of St Declan’s N.S are looking forward to recieving their gifts from Santa Claus on Christmas Morning.
