This week was short but sweet as midterm meant we had no school on Thursday and Friday. We still managed to fit a lot of different activities in!
This month, for PE, we are practising gymnastics. We partnered up during the PE lesson to perform different balances. We used challenge cards to guide us. Some were quite easy but others were very difficult. We gave it our best shot anyway!
For Art this week, we looked at perspectives. We focused on one point perspective, a drawing method that shows how things appear to get smaller as they get further away. It is a way of drawing objects so that they look three-dimensional and realistic. We decided to draw a mountain scene, and some children then practised creating their own one point perspective drawings afterwards.
We hope everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing midterm break!
