A May Altar is an area dedicated to honouring Our Blessed Mother during the month of May. We have a May Altar in reception and Ms Mc Enroy’s 2nd class and Ms Behan’s 3rd class decorated some pictures of Mary. Some teachers have a May altar set up in their classrooms.  We all know the hymn The Hail Mary.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death Amen.
