We held a very successful open night for current and prospective parents on Thursday the 27th of November. They were welcomed in by Mrs O’ Rourke on piano, Mr McKeown on guitar, Mr Quinn on accordion and James from Room 8, 6th class on banjo. We had a presentation in the hall and then parents were brought on a tour of the school to see the sensory room, the library, ICT in the school, a performance from some pupils on fiddle and tin whistle and a presentation on what sport looks like in St. Declan’s from some of our sporting stars and a presentation of the events that take place in St. Declan’s during the school year. Thank you to our PA who provided refreshments on the night. We finished the night off with a wonderful performance from our 5th Class School Choir. Thank you to all the children and teachers who helped out on the night.
