Senior Infant Tout To Newgrange Farm
Senior Infants had an excellent day on their school tour. They went to Newgrange Farm in Slane. They saw cattle, horses, hens, dogs, sheep, goats, cats, donkeys, rabbits, turkeys and chickens. It was a fun filled day with lots of exciting activities to keep the children happy. They got to hold chickens, cuddle kittens, pet the rabbits, milk cows, feed the ducks, hug puppies and bottle feed the lambs and calves. There was sand pits, toy tractors mazes, go carts and play houses for the children to play in . They also get a ride in the tractor and trailer that went down along the River Boyne to see the livestock and crops. It was a very busy day and the children were exhausted coming home. Thank you to Ms Mc Gowan, Ms Collins, Ms Molloy and Ms Farrell for organizing it and for all the Learning Support teachers and SNA’s who went to help out on the day.
