Room 17 were busy learning about the robin. Here are some interesting facts about the robin.

1. Robins are grey or brown in colour and they have a red breast.
2. Male robins are more brightly coloured than female robins.
3. Robin eggs are bright blue.
4. They build their nests in trees.
5. Robins eat insects, berries , fruit, nuts and seeds.
6. Most robins only live for about six years.
7. Robins are territorial and they like to keep their homes. They will fight other robins that come into their garden.
8. We usually see the robin in the Winter.
