Congratulations to all the boys and girls from Ms Lydon’s 2nd class Room 17 who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday the 29th of August. They had a long wait but it was still a very special day for all the families involved.  We had many family members join us for the ceremony via the parish webcam.

Thank you to Mr Lydon for working with the children throughout the year and helping them to prepare for the sacrament. Thank you to Father Ciaran and Father John for celebrating the ceremony and to Veronica Russell for her beautiful singing and her accompanist Joe on piano.

The children all looked super and they received communion certificates and rosary beads after mass and a goodie bag organised by our Parents Association.
