This week is National Maths Week. During this week the children are encouraged to recognise Maths in our daily lives and play games that involve mathematical concepts. Maths week in St Declan’s is full to the brim with fun filled Maths activities.. Our Infant classes have been busy sorting, matching, classifying, balancing, ordering and sequencing sets. Different classes completed Maths trails around the school. They used their Maths eyes to find shapes, numbers, colours in the environment. Maths trails are great for children as they discover maths in the real world. They used cameras and ipads to record their findings.
