This year the Student Council decided to organise a fundraiser for the amazing charity “Make A Wish”. We ran a competition to “Guess How Many Sweets in the Jar”, with the winner receiving the jar of sweets. Every guess also entered you into a ra7e to win a fantastic Easter egg donated by the Chocolate Garden of Ireland. We raised an amazing €500! We were very fortunate to have Mary Quille from ‘Make A Wish’ come to the school for the presentation of the cheque. She spoke to the fourth class and student council, inspiring them to
continue to help others and showed them videos of some of the amazing wishes that have been granted. A huge thank you to all the parents, sta= and students who donated and assisted in this fundraiser. Well done to Ms Carey on mentoring the Students Council throughout the year.
