Well done to Rafael Corman from Ms McGee’s 6th class who won joint 2nd place in The Lion’s Club Peace Poster Competition. Rafael received a plaque from Ciarán Donnelly (president of the Lion’s Club) and Ian Jenkinson. He also won a €25 book shop voucher for The Bookmark in Ashbourne. This year’s theme was “Together as One.” The Lion’s Club received just under 100 paintings that were all of excellent standard and reflected the common thread for peace, friendship and inclusion.
