Lá Glas was a great success in St. Declan’s NS. Thanks you to all the parents and children who went to such a huge effort with costumes, face paints, wigs and accessories. The children looked fantastic and there was a super atmosphere in the school all day long. The Green Schools committee organised a collection and asked for  1 euro donation per child and the funds collected would be donated to the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal. Thank you to all children to contributed. There will be an update next week on the monies collected. Lewis from Room 3 made an announcement on the intercom and spoke about the collection to all the classes and Mr Kearins read out a prayer for everyone in the Ukraine after that. Thank you to Ms Coote our Green School coordinator for organising this very worthy event.
